UP Skills Overview
Chase Up Skills programs offer a progressive skills format and sessions that challenge the individual with innovative drills, personal coaching attention, and small groups to work within. Sessions are conducted by an experienced coaching staff who care about the players they coach and take pride in player development.
Components that are focused on during a UP Skills session include ball handling, footwork, finishing at the basket, building strength and fitness, and gameplay.
The UP Skills program is divided into four levels. This format allows athletes to have access to a progression pathway and cater to a range of ages and skill levels.
Level 1 – for athletes who are 7-8 years and have limited to no basketball experience. This level focuses on learning the basic skills and rules of the game
Level 2 – for athletes who are 8-10 years and have experience in a team or in a previous Chase Basketball program. Training will focus on building on the basic skills learned in level one.
Level 3 – for athletes who are 9-12 years and have experience playing at a high level domestic or representative level. Training will focus on more advanced skills and concepts in a small group setting.
Level 4 – for athletes who are 12-15 years old and have experience playing at the representative level. Athletes will be pushed to work hard and take their skills to the next level to compliment their representative basketball training.
Level 1&2 Training will operate at a ratio of 1 coach to 10 athletes. Each session costs $25
Level 3&4 Training will operate at a ratio of 1 coach to 6 athletes. Each session costs $33
UP Skills training recommences in January 2023. The first sessions begin on January 30th
